Software video encoderВ is the default encoder available in almost every setup. This option allows you to set the video encoder that will be used for RTMP streaming through Manењњam. Navigate to Manењњam menuВ в‡’ Settings/Preferences в‡’В RTMP to access RTMP settings. Since it is based on a different technology, RTMP has additional settings of its own. This ensures smooth video streaming in spite of any fluctuations in bandwidth. As opposed to streaming from a browser, RTMP connection is maintained directly between the streaming server and the video player. RTMP streaming allows you to broadcast directly on Facebook, Twitch, USTREAM and YouTube live events. You can enable it in ManењњamвЂ™s SettingsВ в‡’ General. This will significantly improve the FPS rate. Provided you have at least quad-core CPU, you can enable multi-thread processing using the Asynchronous frame transmissionВ property in Manењњam Settings. Learn How to adjust audio delay using Audio Sync Offset. Holding down the CtrlВ key while adjusting the delay will increase the step size to 100 ms. We recommend checking these settings and making sure they match those selected in Manењњam (especially resolution) in order to avoid quality loss caused by video scaling. Manењњam allows you to adjust a whole bunch of video settings, however, some apps that you connect Manењњam with also have similar settings of their own. If you see resolution different from that of the selected in Manењњam, navigate to ManењњamВ and adjust it accordingly to avoid quality loss caused by video scaling. In Manењњam, you can right-click on the Start Stream button to see the current video format set in the client. This is not something that can be fixed in Manењњam since Manењњam always transmits the video feed in resolution youвЂ™ve selected. The same issue might occur in other apps.

Some apps, like Skype, for instance, can scale the resolution down based on your Internet bandwidth, meaning despite Manењњam is sending video in 1080p, Skype will be scaling it down to 360p automatically if your Internet connection speed is too low or unstable.
